Nature of a gift
Gifts are voluntary and no-reward. They are not charitable donations and are not eligible for Gift Aid. They do not purchase goods or services, provide equity, create a loan or repayment obligation, offer interest or financial returns, or provide raffle or lottery entry.
Payment and confirmation
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout in pounds sterling. A payment is included in public progress only after Stripe confirms that it has succeeded. Pending, failed, cancelled and abandoned checkouts are excluded.
Use of gifts
The page owner is responsible for applying received gifts towards mortgage overpayments in accordance with the mortgage provider’s terms and for publishing progress updates.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic. If a payment was made in error, contact the page owner promptly. Any refund is subject to the payment’s status and Stripe’s processing arrangements.
Privacy
The full residential address, mortgage account information and private supporting documents are not published. Supporter email addresses and payment identifiers are never shown publicly.
